Sea Serpents

Picture
Sea Serpents appear in many mythologies, especially those of maritime countries. Some people believe that these monsters are actual sea creatures, such as whales or sharks, exaggerated in size by frightened sailors. Others think they might actually exist, being surviving examples of prehistoric sea reptiles. Whatever their origins, Sea Serpents are usually gigantic creatures.
